Founded in Georgetown in 1887, adjacent to Washington D.C., our origins trace back to a humble grain and feed enterprise. Later, during the 1990s, the feed and grain mill name was purchased and transformed into a pioneering pet supply ‘superstore,’ at the end of the 90s the storefronts were sold to a large strategic buyer and major competitor in the animal market. Today, in homage to the pioneering entrepreneurs who paved the path, made this possible, and inspired us to take this journey, we proudly retain the esteemed name.
